My Everyday Journey

I had fun creating my page for Carol's challenge of scrapping an everyday journey.
My everyday includes a little bit of country. Duntroon is a far cry from bright city lights and hassle and bussle. Here you can go out with out having to brush your hair or do your make-up. You can even go out to check the mail box in your pajama's, without fair of being seen!

This is my page of a journey I make almost everyday. Although its a bit of an effort at times, especially in the winter, I am happy to breathe in the fresh air and to hear the sound of silence!
And where else can you wander up the centre line of the road without fare of meeting any other traffic!

I love using my stamps on my pages, here I used a cluster of trees to full in the rest of the picture, and wild grass as that grows all the way up the sides of our country roads.

The tree is chipboard and I have coloured it with inks. The butterfly's are rub-ons from Tinkering Ink. thanks for looking at My Everyday Journey and thank you Carol for the challenge.

Here is my finished latest painting
This one is a hit with all the males who have seen it. I must say that I did not really enjoy painting a truck and it will be a one off for sure! Uncle David is now the owner of this one. Next project on thepainting scene is going to be a fisherman- for my Uncle Graeme who is wanting me to paint him something. Really need to get onto this one!
