Winter Wash

I have to admit that I am the owner of many many stamps! I become very addicted to stamps when my good friends mum, Marion, introduced me to the art of stamping over four years ago. About the same time my wonderful friend introduced me to 'trade me' and it really was a match made in heaven!! LOL. Anyway I try not to buy many stamps these days because I have containers full of them and I have not even inked over half of them.
Below is a picture of my Clothes Line stamp... its very cute and I can see why I brought it...but I have not found many uses for it yet. So can you imagine my delight when, at last I found the very reason for my buying this stamp in the first place......

.... my Winter Wash layout that I completed for Carols 'Scrapping the Everyday Challenge' at Scrapbook Studio's.
My pegs are a little strange, I just free hand drew them.... yes you can tell!!

and here is my lovely stamp, put to good use.
I'm thinking that now I have used that stamp I could treat myself to a new one!!

Hullo my dear friend, that stamp is gorgeous and your work is outstanding as always. we must catch up real soon. I am away to Dunedin tomorrow with Mum again but unfortunately plans have changed. Mum was having chemo and as fluid is building up again in her abdomen they were going to drain that too but bloods were not great and risk of infection high so chemo is off til next week and the drain. Still have an appt down there though.Hope all is better with you and your joints, has there been any progress with getting that sorted. Must go to bed but love you heaps Me xxxxx

Here is my finished latest painting

Here is my finished latest painting
This one is a hit with all the males who have seen it. I must say that I did not really enjoy painting a truck and it will be a one off for sure! Uncle David is now the owner of this one. Next project on thepainting scene is going to be a fisherman- for my Uncle Graeme who is wanting me to paint him something. Really need to get onto this one!

Finished at last- I think
