Away for the weekend

Today we are off to Twizel to 'Area 9' Click on the picture above to see what its all about. My lovely cousin's daughter is the 'chief ' of this whole concert. I have no idea how she has organised this advent and managed to stay sane!Anyway we have been fortunate enough to receive Guest passes so are off for a 'wild weekend'. LOL, I think our wild days are well and truly over, but this will be a wonderful experience I'm sure. Aimee is really looking forward to being in on the action. Cody has decided he is going pig shooting as Area 9 is ...quote..."not really my thing Mum" And Camden is 15 for the weekend! This advent is only open to 15 year olds upwards, shhhh...don't tell!!

Wishing all my wonderful readers a great weekend.

To my far away friend Renate, I do hope the sun shines for you!

Stormy weather

It is so nice to have a day at home today, after a very full on weekend. Sunday saw us back in town at 10am. Camden had to be in to play his bagpipes, with the band, at Oamaru's Victorian Fete. We had mass in the morning , at St Kevin's and latter in the day we attended the prize giving and graduation ceremony for the senior students at the school. Aimee still has next year to go, but made us proud by receiving the Fair Player sports award for the second year running.
We have had a mixed bag of weather today, very hot this morning and then this afternoon we had a horrendous thunder and hail storm. I really was worried that my scrap room roof was going to cave in on me!!
